We are all in and around the same age, 50ish and are seeking a like minded singer to provide lead vocals. We have, as a band, learned approximately 25 songs in the three months we have been together. These songs range from classic Beatles, to 70's and 80's rock material. As we are still very much a start up band, we are not in any way married to the songs we have worked out. They are simply songs that we enjoy listening to, as well as playing. We have no illusions of touring or recording, we are in it for fun. We rehearse in Pickering and have access to a full rehearsal studio, should we require one.
If you were at one time a singer and life has gotten in the way of your plans, you should contact us! If you play an instrument and sing, well you should contact us! We have already been down the road of flakes and frankly, we simply don't have the time to deal with that again, so please, if you contact us, be at least serious enough to be able to make a once a week committment to rehearsing.
We are more than happy to entertain your questions as we are seeking a new "team mate" here, so getting along with each other is paramount to us at this time.

Please also bring an Irish accent with you. (or at least attempt one.) EVERYONE AUDITIONING WILL BE OFFERED A SPEAKING ROLE!! SHOW DATES will be in late Sept and early October
Plot Summary
The story takes place many years ago in the small fictional town of Ballybunn Village in County Tipperary, Ireland. The story centers on Mary O'Leary and her two brothers Tommy (who likes girls more than girls like him) & Seamus (who is teased all the time because he is short) as well as her sister Peggy (who likes nice things but doesn't realize they cost money). Mary is the oldest OLeary child who has been taking care of her siblings since her mother passed away a couple of years earlier. The O'Leary children's father Thaddeus O'Leary has been away in American trying to save enough money to send for his children so they can live a better life. Despite warnings of the dangers of leprechauns from the other villagers, the O'Leary children go in search of lost sheep in the ruins of McLunser Castle. Legend has it that McLunser Castle is the home to Leviticus, King of all the Leprechauns and his loyal Leprechaun subjects. None of the O'Leary children believe in Leprechauns until they see Leviticus and his band of Leprechauns in the flesh. Tommy captures Leviticus. Tommy, Peggy and Seamus make wishes with the leprechaun. Mary refuses to make a wish because she knows all to well the stories of how Leprechauns like to trick humans for their own merriment. After Tommy, Peggy and Seamus make their respective wishes they return to the village. Tommy wishes for all the single girls in Ballybunn village to love him. Peggy wishes for everyone in Ballybunn village to possess all the valuables in the world such as gems, precious metals and of course money. Seamus wishes he were a foot taller. At first it is clear that their wishes have been granted. Then slowly things begins to take a turn for the worse and all of Ballybunn Village is turned upside down in comedic turmoil as things become unraveled because of the O'Leary's wishes. Tragically one of the Seamus becomes gravely ill as the family attempts to prevent the Dullahan (The mythical Irish angel of death) arrive to take Seamus to heaven. Only Mary O'Leary can save her family as well as the rest of the Ballybunn Villagers from the twisted sense of humor of Leviticus King of All the Leprechauns! -- Project Type: Live Event

Will start off with some cover songs like, Spanish Castle Magic by Jimi Hendrix, Black Sabbath songs, and whatever else we feel like playing. This is so we can get a feel for each other as we play. 05-20-10 - Portland, ME>Augusta, ME - I am getting married at Moss Creek, and we would love to have someone play guitar for our ceremony. You would be there for about an hour in the afternoon (5:30-6:30). We are looking for someone who has done weddings before! Some music we'd like you to play before the ceremony (while everyone is being seated) would be stuff like Jack Johnson, Ben Harper, Citizen Cope... sort of modern beach-y music. You don't have to sing (unless you are really good!) During the ceremony while everyone's walking down we'd prefer more traditional ceremony music (Canon in D in particular). 05-14-10 - Augusta, ME>Portland, ME - I am casting an independent romance/drama "Isabel" which will be entered into the Sundance Film Festival. The film stars: Jon Briddell and Sharon Wright.
In the film "Isabel," Jon Briddell plays a broken-hearted lover/dead-beat father rebuilding "a family" from broken people in his life. The film will be a drama about family and relationships, most likely be rated a PG-13. The film will, obviously, be shot in HD and will have a complete original soundtrack composed for it.
This will be filmed from May 23rd through June 12th 2010 in Spruce Head, Maine (Rockland Area). For day players and extras, we can be flexible to your schedule given you have a day or two free in the time-frame.
Pay will be $100 per day + Travel Expenses up to $100. The film is non-union, so SAG actors cannot be accepted. Because of the minimal travel coverage, we are hoping for actors from the greater New England area: New England of course, but also New York, New Jersey, etc... Beyond that travel expenses maybe too great to be reasonable for this part.
